Chamisa Village features apartments for students who have attained sophomore standing or above. This active community combines the conveniences of campus living with the amenities of modern apartments! Early application is a must as Chamisa Village fills quickly!
Chamisa Village apartments, located on North Campus near Corbett Center Student Union, come in two and four bedroom layouts. Much thought and planning was placed on creating living spaces conducive to accommodating the student lifestyle. Each roommate has a private bedroom with a loftable, full size bed. The kitchen and living room layouts feature an open floor plan to encourage social interaction.
From the large bedrooms with plenty of storage space and multi-use desks to the modern kitchens with energy efficient appliances, our fully furnished apartments are designed to encourage an environment where each student can live, learn and thrive with contemporary conveniences and style. It is important to know that Chamisa is one, cohesive residential living area comprised of Building’s A, B, C, E, F, G & H (Building D is the Chamisa Club House located in the center of Chamisa Village).
Residential furniture in each apartment includes:

Join the community.Designed around large, grassy court yards, Phase I of Chamisa Village, which opened in August of 2007, is made up of three residential buildings, along with study areas, laundry rooms and an administrative building.

Phase II of Chamisa Village opened in 2012.
Our premier, architecturally distinctive Chamisa II Village Apartments were designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in human and environmental health standards. This has resulted in achieving LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold status, propelling Chamisa II to be one of the first housing facilities in the state to achieve such a status. From sustainable site development to energy efficient materials selection to indoor environmental quality, this building and all of its components were designed with the environment in mind.
